Job Details

We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with experience in defense-side civil litigation to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to handle a variety of matters, including personal injury, construction defect, and general liability cases, with hands-on involvement throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of defense litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs
  • Handle written discovery and depositions
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
  • Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial strategy and execution
  • Communicate with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage case flow

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of civil litigation experience (defense preferred)
  • Experience with insurance defense, personal injury, or construction defect is highly preferred
  • Active Texas Bar license in good standing
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
