Role Overview
Initio Sphere is onboarding Deal Strategy Coaches to provide strategic, operational, and deal-focused guidance while mentoring analysts, scouts, and junior advisors.
This is not a traditional employment role. Coaches operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.
Once approved, Deal Strategy Coaches:
Advise on deal structuring, capital strategy, and transaction execution
Mentor analysts and deal scouts, building internal capacity and credibility
Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure
Build a verified Coach Track Record within the ecosystem
This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of leading capital transactions or strategic investment initiatives.
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Approved Deal Strategy Coaches may:
Advise fund managers and sponsors on capital strategy, LP engagement, and deal positioning
Provide guidance on structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy
Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and transaction execution
Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance
Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors
Coaches focus on high-level strategy and relationship-driven deal activation. They do not handle day-to-day transactional modeling unless approved.
Eligible Advisory & Coaching Areas
Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications
Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy
Operational or portfolio company advisory
Mentorship and technical coaching for analysts and deal scouts
Investor relations and network strategy
Approval is based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to provide real deal guidance.
Compensation & Deal Economics
Independent contractor arrangement
Hourly rates: $200–$500, depending on experience, track record, and engagement scope
Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory work on closed deals
Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure
No cap on earnings for consistently high-value contributions
How Coaches Get Activated
Submit a Deal Strategy Coach application with background, track record, and deal history
Complete verification and category approval
Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Begin coaching and mentoring funds, sponsors, analysts, and scouts on approved engagements
This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to live opportunities.

Solicit securities
Market investments outside approved channels
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All coaching and advisory work must comply with applicable securities laws and focus on strategic guidance, mentoring, and deal support.
