Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Evening and weekend work may be required as operationally necessary.
Job Summary
The Mesa Branch Manager provides leadership, operational oversight, compliance management, and program growth for Endeavor HCBS's Mesa office. This role oversees Care Coordinators and the Front Office Coordinator, ensuring individuals with developmental and special needs receive high-quality, person-centered services that promote dignity, independence, and quality of life.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is tough but compassionate, high-energy, and fun, while maintaining professionalism and accountability. The ideal candidate leads with heart, creates structure, holds people to high standards, and makes staff feel proud of the meaningful work they do every day.
Work Schedule & Employment Status
This is a salaried, exempt leadership position. While regular hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, the Branch Manager is expected to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet operational, training, compliance, and client-support needs. This may include occasional evening or weekend work. Compensation is based on leadership responsibilities and performance outcomes, not hours worked.
Essential Job Functions
Lead and supervise Care Coordinators and the Front Office Coordinator with clarity, accountability, and support
Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings to review caseloads, unit production, onboarding progress, and challenges
Ensure Care Coordinators are actively onboarding new clients, matching DSPs, and maintaining service continuity
Track and review weekly branch metrics including billing units, new intakes, DSP onboarding, and retention
Oversee branch spending and operational expenses responsibly
Ensure accurate and timely billing, payroll exception review, and documentation compliance
Partner with the Front Office Coordinator to ensure DSP credentials remain current and renewals are scheduled on time
Ensure in-house CPR, First Aid, and Article 9 trainings are scheduled regularly with a minimum of four (4) participants per class
Maintain ongoing compliance with AZ DES, DDD, AHCCCS, and Endeavor HCBS policies and procedures
Serve as the on-site leader and escalation point for families, staff, and community partners
Support the Community Liaison with local outreach, relationship-building, and community engagement in the East Valley area
Foster a culture of dignity, professionalism, pride, and compassion for individuals with special needs
Model calm, confident leadership in a fast-paced and emotionally meaningful environment
Introductory Employment Period
The first ninety (90) days of employment are considered an introductory period. During this time, performance, leadership effectiveness, cultural alignment, and training completion will be evaluated. A formal 90-day review will be conducted prior to confirmation of permanent employment. Completion of the introductory period does not alter the at-will nature of employment.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $55,000–$62,000 annually (based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated leadership ability)
Ten (10) paid holidays annually
Eighty (80) hours of paid time off (PTO)
Medical, dental, and vision insurance available after sixty (60) days of employment
Additional benefits may be offered in accordance with company policy
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Special Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in HCBS, DDD, or a related human services field
Strong working knowledge of Arizona DDD regulations, HCBS services, and Medicaid billing requirements
Demonstrated ability to lead teams with both accountability and compassion
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as operationally necessary
Required Certifications & Licensure
AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire)
CPR & First Aid Certification (must be obtained within the first thirty (30) days of hire)
Article 9 Training Certification (must be obtained within the first thirty (30) days of hire)
Valid Arizona driver's license with current, valid automobile insurance maintained throughout employment
