Job Description:
The role focuses on supporting the implementation and use of a data catalog in a remote setting.
It is a contract position requiring collaboration with business and technical teams to manage metadata and governance processes.
Experience with data management and governance platforms is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain a data catalog for metadata management.
Develop and manage a business glossary with clear definitions.
Execute data governance processes and document procedures.
Collaborate with data owners to onboard data domains.
Support role-based access control implementation and audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of experience in data governance or management.
Proficiency with data catalog or governance platforms.
Strong understanding of metadata and data governance concepts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
