Job Description:
Client is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist. The ideal candidate will accurately perform high-speed data entry and validation of digital and hardcopy documents. This role supports document processing workflows including classification validation, data extraction quality control, and check verification. Candidates must attach a typing test score to their resume and will be required to complete a typing test as part of the screening process.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate high-speed manual data entry (target 15,000 keystrokes per hour) into data entry software.
- Verify and validate incoming digital images and document classifications.
- Correct exceptions in automated document classification, extracted data, and redactions.
- Manually enter meta-data index information from digital documents.
- Conduct quality control checks on documents converted to digital formats.
- Validate incoming checks and related documentation, ensuring proper payee, date, and signature.
- Generate check return letters if necessary.
- Analyze and correct check amounts from automatically extracted data.
- Reconcile check batch totals and ensure fiscal control of check batches.
- Research and analyze check distributions per customer requirements.
- Compare hardcopy documents to digital versions to ensure conversion quality.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards established by management.
- Complete required paperwork in a timely, accurate, and legible manner.
- Adapt to changing situations while maintaining quality and production standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Candidates must take a typing test as part of hiring.
- Proven ability to perform high-speed and accurate data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to validate automated classifications and data extraction outputs.
- Capable of repetitive work while maintaining quality and productivity.
- Good communication skills and ability to complete written documentation accurately.
