Duration: This internship is expected to last 3 months and may offer the opportunity for extension based on performance and business needs.
Location: Royal Waste Services, Queens, NY.
Schedule : 9am -5pm – Monday – Friday
Compensation: This is a paid internship position. The compensation will be $20.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist in inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data records into databases and other digital platforms.
+ Verify data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.
+ Organize and categorize data according to predefined formats and guidelines.
+ Support in performing regular data quality checks to ensure integrity and consistency of data.
+ Assist in the compilation and preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and other data-related documents as needed.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of data entry tasks and projects.
+ Follow established procedures and protocols for data entry and management.
+ Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
+ Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance data entry skills and knowledge.
+ Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
+ Currently enrolled in a degree program in a related field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
+ Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office applications.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; bi-lingual a plus
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
+ Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
