Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in IBM Netezza and IBM DataStage, along with hands-on or working experience in Snowflake and Databricks. The role involves designing, building, and supporting scalable data pipelines across legacy and modern cloud data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using IBM DataStage
- Work extensively with IBM Netezza for data modeling, transformations, and performance tuning
- Build and support data pipelines in Snowflake and Databricks
- Develop complex SQL queries for large-scale data processing and validation
- Support data ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation processes
- Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines
- Collaborate with BI, analytics, and cloud teams to support reporting and analytics use cases
- Document data flows, transformations, and technical specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer / ETL Developer
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage
- Strong experience working with IBM Netezza
- Advanced SQL skills
Preferred
- Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting
- Experience in data migration or modernization projects
