Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Cyber Governance Lead to join our globally dispersed team. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to the leadership and execution of our cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance programs. You'll be working with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the highest level of cybersecurity standards are met across our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and securing our digital future.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and implementation of the cybersecurity governance framework, ensuring alignment with NIST, ISO 27001, and other industry standards.
2. Oversee the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensure its effectiveness in managing security risks.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security governance is integrated into all aspects of the organization, including M&A activities.
4. Evaluate and recommend enhancements to the cybersecurity governance program to meet evolving threats and regulatory requirements.
5. Provide expert advice on Azure Security, AWS security, and other cloud security platforms.
6. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
7. Develop and deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs to all staff members.
8. Collaborate with IT and business leaders to develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
9. Drive the certification and accreditation process for systems and networks.
10. Report on the status of cybersecurity governance to senior management and the board, providing recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification (CISA, CISSP, CISM) is preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity governance role with SaaS expertise.
3. Proven experience with NIST, ISO, and other cybersecurity frameworks.
4. Expert knowledge of cloud security (Azure or AWS) preferred
5. Experience with M&A cybersecurity considerations and processes.
6. Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to drive change and implement robust security governance frameworks.
9. Current knowledge of cybersecurity threats, trends, and countermeasures.
10. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
