Customs Clerk 1st shift

Location:  Eastside El Paso 

Shift: 9:00am – 6:00pm 

Summary:   As a customs compliance specialist, you are an expert in international trade regulations and customs compliance and assist companies with trade activities to import and export shipments. Responsibilities include training companies on how to manage regulations and apply them to their specific business applications, conducting audits, writing reports with your findings, and keeping all documents organized. You also interact regularly with customs and government personnel.

Responsibilities

• • Create Customs entries.
• • Ensure correct value, HTSUS and COOs are reported.
• • AES Export documents.
• • In Bond shipments
• • ISF Filing

Requirements:

• • Working Knowledge of US Customs laws and regulations
• • 2 years’ experience with the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System
• • Computer skills: MS Office Suite, RB Systems, or other software supporting ACE Transmissions.
• • Work Under Pressure to meet customers’ requirements and meet deadlines.
