POSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process inside sales orders for next-day delivery.
- Manage account activities, including RFQs and sourcing commodity packaging items (boxes, stretch film, tape, etc.).
- Confirm product availability and verify Gross Profit % accuracy on each order.
- Process 15–20 sales orders daily with accuracy and efficiency.
- Answer all incoming calls within two to three rings.
- Provide sales support to three or more outside sales representatives.
- Research products using Legacy ERP system and vendor websites.
- Prepare customer and sales representative quotes daily via phone, email, or customer portals.
- Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by going above and beyond expectations.
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as quotes, orders, and product specifications.
- Strong math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with employees, customers, and supervisors.
- Self-starter with the ability to stay productive without constant supervision
- Receptive to direction and able to build positive working relationships with supervisors and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in computers and relevant software applications, primarily Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
- Packaging industry knowledge preferred but not required.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High School Education or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience dealing with customers in a similar environment
PAY RANGE
$41,600-$45,760 / YR
