Commerical Sales Customer Service Representative

Reports to: VP of SALES & MARKETING

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $24-27/hour

Position Description: The Commercial Sales Customer Service Representative is responsible for coordinating and assisting with Commercial orders and assisting VP of Sales & Marketing as needed.

Key Performance Outcomes: Customer Satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to email, phone inquiries and other customer service-related issues from Commercial customers.
  • Provide receipt/acknowledgement to customers on all inquiries.
  • Issue customer communications regarding pricing and availability on parts as directed by sales.
  • Consult with Commercial Sales team to answer questions or distribute information.
  • Prepare estimate orders for commercial customers.
  • Enter parts, equipment, and repair orders. Update information as necessary.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient flow of orders, including assisting in shipping/freight arrangements if necessary.
  • Maintain customer contact database.
  • Assist in preparation for Tradeshows.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Certification: Associate degree or higher
  • Required Knowledge: General Computer knowledge, Microsoft Office; Fluency in English; Spanish speaking is a plus. Knowledge of INFOR Syteline and EDI is a plus.
  • Experience Required: 3 to 5 years’ experience in Customer Service, manufacturing company experience preferred.
  • Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

The employee is required to sit for extended periods.
