Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Toms River, NJ

Type: Contract
Compensation: $20.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Monday-Friday


Customer Service Representative Job Duties:

  • Process customer orders by phone, email, and fax using a computerized system
  • Set up new customer accounts and update existing account information

  • Provide price quotes and assist customers with order placement

  • Resolve customer issues related to pricing, billing, shipments, credits, and returns (RMA)

  • Work with Accounting to address invoice questions and deductions

  • Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Quality, Lab, and Engineering to track orders and answer customer questions

  • Maintain strong customer and distributor relationships through prompt and professional communication

  • Report product complaints to management and help initiate corrective actions

  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international trade regulations

  • Prepare and process required documentation (invoices, packing slips, export paperwork, Country of Origin forms, etc.)

  • Process and manage export orders

  • Follow department procedures to meet quality standards

Customer Service Representative Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and 3+ years experience in customer service over the phone
  • Must be available to work ASAP until August 2026
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must have excellent listening and communication skills and be well organized
