Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
 
General Description
We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to serve as a primary point of contact for our customers. This role is responsible for providing accurate information regarding products and services, processing incoming orders, and resolving customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers and internal employees via phone, email, and in person regarding:

    • Product and service inquiries

    • Order placement and updates

    • Shipping dates and delays

    • Complaints or issue resolution

  • Receive and process incoming orders via email, phone, fax, or other electronic methods

  • Accurately and timely enter orders, return authorizations, change notes, and other relevant information into the system in accordance with company procedures

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, orders, complaints, and actions taken

  • Answer incoming phone lines and direct calls appropriately

  • Fill in as Switchboard Operator when requested by a supervisor

  • Perform additional clerical, administrative, and office duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional and courteous customer service demeanor

  • Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience

Additional Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States is required
