Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls, emails, and other communication channels from customers regarding shipment status, tracking, delivery issues, pricing, and general inquiries.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on freight movements, customs requirements, and logistics processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally, escalating complex problems to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Process and input customer orders, service requests, and data into the company's systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., operations, dispatch, sales) to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
- Educate customers on available services, service limitations, and best practices for shipping and logistics.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment.
- Experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry is a significant plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Strong active listening skills and ability to empathize with customers.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen
