System One is partnering with a client who is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative with strong account or program management experience and a background in manufacturing.
Location: Claremore, Oklahoma -Onsite
Compensation: $58,000/year
This role plays a key part in coordinating production activities, supporting customer communication, and ensuring on?time delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working across departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative works closely with managers, production teams, engineering, and customers to ensure manufacturing schedules stay on track and production goals are met. This role acts as a customer liaison, provides frequent status updates, and ensures materials and resources are properly aligned to support efficient production flow.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer updates, providing timely and accurate status information.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and shipping departments to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Plan and manage production control activities to support efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and schedule adherence.
- Create, maintain, and optimize production schedules and resource utilization.
- Monitor material movement throughout the production cycle to prevent delays.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve scheduling or workflow challenges.
- Support account management or program management needs related to customer projects, timelines, and communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of scheduling experience within a manufacturing environment (required).
- Experience in account management or program management supporting customer-driven projects.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, including expertise with spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERP and Excel.
- Ability to move throughout the facility, including stairs.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret customer and engineering specifications in print/hard-copy format.
