Work Environment: 100% Onsite
Pay Rate:$19-$21/hr
Type: TTH (Temp-to-Hire)
About the Role
We are seeking an outgoing, detail‑oriented Customer Service Professional to support both phone‑based and face‑to‑face showroom interactions. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment. Candidates with logistics or construction industry experience are strongly preferred.
This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate customer data within the company's recently updated CRM systems, requiring frequent cross‑referencing and data validation as information is transferred between two platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service that is flexible, reliable, and responsive to customer needs
- Accurately enter customer orders using the company's Account Mate/VAM system
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to resolve questions and issues
- Listen actively and make sound decisions that align with customer needs and company processes
- Perform a variety of rotating duties, supporting team functions as needed
- Cross‑reference information between two CRM systems to ensure accuracy and proper data integration (system flags errors when data does not match)
- Support vendor and installation crew follow‑up, including some scheduling tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred
- Experience in construction or logistics is a plus
- Prior customer service or call center experience strongly preferred
- Strong keying/data‑entry skills; comfortable with Windows‑based applications
- Positive and professional attitude; ability to collaborate with internal staff, vendors, and customers
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to learn product lines, policies, and procedures
- Team‑oriented, dependable, and proactive
- Able to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, decimals)
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear
- Frequent use of hands for typing and handling documents
- Occasional standing and walking
- Must be able to sit for extended periods with or without accommodation
