The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges for manufactured goods.
- Respond to inquiries regarding product specifications, inventory, and order status.
- Liaise with production, shipping, and quality control departments to resolve customer issues.
- Proactively communicate production delays, shipping updates, and lead time changes to customers.
- Provide initial technical support for product-related questions or escalate to engineering teams.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality or delivery discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and product feedback in the CRM/ERP system.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, product specifications, or technical terminology.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for order entry, tracking, and inventory management.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address complex customer inquiries.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order processing and documentation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes or industrial products.
- Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics.
- Experience in a Business-to-Business (B2B) customer service environment.
