Customer Service Representative

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension



Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional support to customers through timely and accurate order management, inquiry resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities



Customer Support & Communication

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries including quotations, orders, complaints, and general requests via phone and email.
  • Provide professional, timely support while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate the ability to flex across multiple customer types, markets, and segments.


Order Management & Accuracy

  • Enter customer orders and quotations with strong attention to detail.
  • Manage orders throughout the lifecycle including shipping, updates, and modifications as needed.
  • Maintain accuracy while adhering to defined service-level agreements (SLAs).


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Technical Support, Product Line Management, Data Management, and other internal teams to ensure effective resolution of customer needs.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and timely handling of customer requests.


Documentation & Recordkeeping

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions including inquiries, complaints, and resolutions.
  • Document all actions taken in accordance with internal processes.


Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in Business preferred

Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in customer service and data entry
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems preferred

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
