Responsibilities of the Customer Care Consultant
- Meet AT&T customers to assess mobile needs and recommend smartphones and unlimited plans that support sales and retention.
- Drive upgrade sales by demonstrating new device capabilities and explaining how AT&T unlimited data enhances daily use.
- Simplify trade‑in eligibility and device protection benefits to remove friction from the sales decision.
- Process mobile plan changes, line additions, and account updates with accuracy to support a clean sales flow.
- Track customer retention trends to refine in‑person engagement and prevent mobile service cancellations.
- Align consultation activity with sales goals, consistently meeting upgrade and retention targets.
Qualifications of the Customer Care Consultant
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in customer care or sales is a plus.
- Comfortable working toward daily upgrade, protection, and retention sales targets.
- Skilled at simplifying AT&T plan choices so customers can make confident decisions.
- Able to learn new AT&T promotions, device launches, and plan updates quickly.
