Title: Custodian (2nd Shift) - $17.96/hr
Compensation: $17.96 per hour
Shift/Working Hours: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). Full-time and Part-time opportunities available!

About the role:
PrideStaff is partnering with a leading local healthcare provider in Asheville, NC to find dedicated Environmental Services Technicians (Custodians/Housekeepers). In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation across the facility, supporting a healthy and welcoming environment for all staff, patients, and visitors.

• Basic understanding of safety protocols related to cleaning solutions and operating maintenance tools is preferred, but not required (we provide training!).
• A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

• What you will do:

  • Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitation of all assigned areas, including offices, laboratories, training rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Follow a routine work plan and schedule for daily cleaning, while also completing special detail cleanings and projects as assigned.
  • Maintain and organize the janitor's room, ensuring all cleaning and maintenance supplies are appropriately stocked and managed.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols regarding cleaning solutions and equipment, reporting any facility deficiencies or safety hazards immediately.
  • Address minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes, to ensure the facility runs smoothly.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with all departments to ensure cleaning duties are performed in a manner that is minimally disruptive.
