Job Title: CT Technologist I
Location: Hillsborough, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist I to join our imaging team in Hillsborough, NC. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in a safe and professional manner while ensuring patient comfort and compliance with all regulatory standards. This position requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and advanced certification in CT.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams while ensuring safety and comfort.

  • Operate CT equipment and related technology effectively and safely.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

  • Follow radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.

  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.

  • Maintain equipment and report any technical issues promptly.

Shift Differential

  • Weekday Evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM): +15%

  • Weekday Night (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM): +20%

  • Saturday/Sunday Day: +10%

  • Saturday/Sunday Evening: +25%

  • Saturday/Sunday Night: +30%

  • Weekend Period: 11:00 PM Friday – 7:00 AM Monday

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology education program.

  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible.

    • Registry-eligible candidates must provide a diploma from an accredited program.

  • Advanced certification in CT required.

  • Must obtain ARRT registration within one year of employment (if registry eligible at hire) and maintain annual continuing education requirements.

  • Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) BLS certification required.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
