CT/Diagnostic Technologist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and certified CT/Diagnostic Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality patient care by operating advanced CT and X-Ray equipment, capturing precise diagnostic images, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage CT and X-Ray procedures, ensuring accurate patient positioning and adherence to scan instructions.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
- Administer contrast agents under medical supervision and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff to interpret imaging results and address patient care needs.
Work Schedule:
This position requires a 3-week rotating schedule with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including call and holiday rotations. The schedule is as follows:
- Week 1: Monday, Friday, and Saturday
- Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Week 3: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited American Medical Association School of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
- Valid state Medical Radiographer license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, required within three months of hire.
- Preferred experience includes one year in CT or graduation from an approved CT/MRI program.
Skills and Abilities:
- Outstanding communication skills to interact with patients, families, and medical personnel.
- Strong analytical ability to compute exposure factors and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proficient in working with pediatric patients and knowledgeable in cross-sectional anatomy for CT exams.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $29.35 to $47.00 per hour. This role is eligible for full-time benefits, including:
- Sign-on bonus, $15,000
