Locum Tenens CRNA Opportunity near Sedona, AZ (ASAP - Ongoing) An exciting opportunity awaits a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) looking for a locum tenens position near Sedona, Arizona. This is a flexible and dynamic role with scheduled shifts, no call responsibilities, and the chance to be part of a highly skilled team. Job Overview: Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialty: CRNA Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Ongoing Shift Details: Standard shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts) Block Schedules: Not available Shift lengths vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours. CRNAs must be willing to work based on computer-generated schedules. Work Details: Number of Operating Rooms (ORs): 11 in the main OR 2 in the ambulatory center Patients per Day: 50-60 cases per day across multiple specialties Department Description: Includes orthopedic, orthopedic trauma, general surgery, general trauma, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory, and endoscopy cases. Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner and SaAnesthesia Hospital Bed Size: 317 beds Case/Procedure Experience: Must have recent hospital experience Interview Process: Candidates will be interviewed via phone. Requirements: Board Certification: Must be a CRNA certified by NBCRNA License Required: Must hold an active Arizona state license or IMLC license DEA Registration: Required Certifications: Must have either Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Experience: Minimum recent experience in hospital settings is required. Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days Compensation & Overtime: Overtime: Available after scheduled shifts, paid at 1.5x the regular rate. Practice Setting: Hospital-based role with a diverse range of cases, including trauma, general surgery, ortho, and more. You will be part of a large, supportive anesthesia team handling high case volumes with state-of-the-art equipment.
