This corporate-based role reports to the CFO and Treasurer and leads a team of six professionals focused on compliance, reporting, and operational execution.
If you bring strong insurance expertise — or a deep accounting background with statutory reporting experience — this is an opportunity to step into a stable, well-established organization where your knowledge truly matters.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing a team supporting credit insurance and ancillary products
- Managing all corporate insurance programs (excluding employee benefits)
- Evaluating coverage needs and negotiating terms with insurance providers
- Overseeing renewals, certificates, premium payments, and claims reporting
- Making final determinations on escalated credit insurance claims
- Overseeing GAAP and statutory ledger activity for affiliated insurance entities
- Preparing and submitting quarterly and annual NAIC statements
- Managing premium tax filings, regulatory reporting, and insurance examinations
- Monitoring regulatory updates and ensuring operational compliance
- Supporting development and implementation of new credit insurance products
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring attention to detail, regulatory confidence, and strong financial oversight.
What You Bring
We’re looking for a professional who understands the regulatory and financial complexities of insurance operations and can confidently manage compliance and reporting responsibilities.
Preferred Background:
- 10+ years in insurance industry experience, OR a deep accounting background OR accounting with statutory reporting experience
- Strong knowledge of corporate insurance policies and credit insurance products
- Experience with regulatory filings, NAIC reporting, and insurance compliance
- Ability to obtain and maintain South Carolina insurance licensing
We will also consider candidates with:
- A strong accounting background with statutory financial reporting experience
- Deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting frameworks
- Experience interpreting and applying financial regulations
Additionally, you should have:
- Leadership experience managing and developing a team
- Strong Excel and financial systems proficiency
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain strong working relationships with vendors, regulators, and internal stakeholders

- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off
- A stable, well-established organization with long-term growth
