How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Application Management: Execute the end-to-end processing of initial credentialing and biennial re-credentialing applications for all clinical staff.
  • Communication & Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for medical office staff, state licensing boards, and insurance carriers to resolve discrepancies in provider files.
  • Database Integrity & Compliance: Maintain a high-accuracy database of provider credentials, ensuring all digital and physical records are audit-ready at all times.
  • Verification Accuracy: Facilitate professional correspondence, including the drafting and tracking of verification letters to external institutions and peer references.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with credentialing databases and Google Drive and Microsoft Office suite.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Credentialing Specialist credentialed from the National Association Medical Staff Services preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
