Position Summary

As a Credentials Coordinator, you’ll manage the full credentialing lifecycle for medical and allied health staff—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate initial appointments & reappointments

  • Perform primary source verification & privileging

  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready credentialing files

  • Support provider onboarding (access, orientation, badging)

  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards

  • Maintain medical staff database & strict confidentiality

  • Stay current with bylaws, policies, and regulatory requirements


What You Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of Medical Staff / Credentialing experience (acute care/hospital setting preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of Joint Commission standards

  • High attention to detail and organization

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently


Preferred Qualifications

  • CPCS or CPMSM certification (preferred, not required)

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience


Schedule & Details

  • Shift: Day Shift (8-hour)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday

  • Setting: Onsite (First Floor Office)

  • Location: Los Angeles, CA

  • Local candidates strongly preferred
