At Pace Analytical, our couriers play a critical role in keeping laboratory operations moving—safely, accurately, and on time.
As a Courier, you will pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials; complete the appropriate forms and documentation; and support the daily administration of our service center. If you’re dependable, organized, and customer‑focused, this is your opportunity to contribute to a team dedicated to quality and compliance.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
What you’ll do (Essential Functions)
Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and other items as needed.
Review, complete, and process forms, databases, and documentation for sample pick‑up, transport, and delivery.
Prepare your vehicle for daily operations, including safety checks and ensuring all required documents and supplies are in order.
Provide basic support to staff and management regarding sample transport.
Provide basic support researching issues and develop recommendations to resolve employee, management, and customer issues related to transport and delivery.
Assist with compliance to applicable laws, rules, and regulations; seek guidance or escalate when required.
Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department by offering suggestions and participating as an active member of the team.
Promote and support Pace Analytical’s mission by demonstrating courteous, cooperative behavior with customers and colleagues, fostering a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; experience in related work preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Licenses & Registrations
Valid Driver’s License; continued employment is contingent upon licenses/registrations remaining in active status without suspension or revocation.
Required Knowledge
Principles, practices, and techniques for sample pick‑up, transport, and delivery.
Understanding of daily administration of sample deliveries.
Customer service principles and practices.
Safe driving principles and practices.
Ability to learn organizational policies and procedures.
Computer applications and systems related to the work.
Principles and practices for serving as an effective project team member.
Methods to communicate with staff, coworkers, and customers to ensure safe, effective, and appropriate operations.
Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
