Cost Accounting Manager

- Lead and oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, reporting, and consolidations
- Prepare and review timely financial statements for internal and external reporting
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risk
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits
- Partner with leadership to analyze financial results, budgets, forecasts, and performance trends
- Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions
- Oversee accounting systems, process improvements, and scalability initiatives
- Support integrations related to acquisitions or organizational changes
- Lead, develop, and mentor accounting teams across corporate and operating units
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including leadership responsibilities
- Experience with multi-entity or complex organizations preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar)
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage audits, and partner with senior leadership
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
