Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accounting Analyst:
- Analyze product and operational costs to support margin and profitability insights
- Prepare and review cost variance analysis for materials, labor, and overhead
- Support inventory and manufacturing cost reporting
- Partner with operations and finance teams to explain cost drivers and trends
- Assist with month‑end close activities related to cost accounting
- Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements
Qualifications for the Cost Accounting Analyst:
- Experience in cost accounting or cost analysis, ideally in a manufacturing or operations environment
- Strong understanding of inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
