Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prepare and analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material usage, purchase price, overhead)
  • Support standard cost maintenance and annual cost roll processes
  • Prepare cost-related journal entries and perform account reconciliations during month-end close
  • Assist with inventory accounting, including cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciliations
  • Generate weekly and monthly cost and operational reports for leadership review
  • Partner with operations teams to understand production impacts on cost
  • Support internal and external audits with costing and inventory documentation
  • Perform ad hoc cost analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications – Needed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience, with exposure to cost accounting preferred
  • Experience or strong background in manufacturing environments and cost accounting principles
  • Basic understanding of inventory accounting and standard costing methodologies
  • Strong background in financial analysis, variance analysis, and reconciliations
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and support operational decision-making
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail
