Talent Consultants is excited to announce an opening for a Corporate Trademark Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in trademark law, with a focus on corporate clients, guiding them through all aspects of trademark registration, compliance, and enforcement. As a Corporate Trademark Attorney, you will be responsible for developing and implementing trademark strategies, advising clients on brand protection, and managing trademark portfolios. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with clients across various industries, helping them navigate the complexities of trademark law while contributing positively to their business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and advise on trademark issues, including registration, maintenance, and enforcement for a diverse client portfolio.
- Conduct comprehensive trademark searches and analyze results to assist clients in making informed decisions.
- Prepare and file trademark applications, responses to office actions, and represent clients in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings.
- Consult with clients on any corporate or transactional matters
- Develop and implement strategies for global trademark protection and enforcement.
- Provide counsel on trademark law, brand protection strategies, and compliance with international IP regulations.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to educate them on trademark issues and best practices.
- Stay abreast of changes in trademark law and regulations, ensuring clients are informed and compliant.
- Collaborate with legal and corporate teams to align trademark strategy with overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active GA license in the state of practice.
- 4-7 years of experience specifically in trademark law and intellectual property.
- Strong understanding of corporate trademark issues, including searching, registration, enforcement, and litigation.
- Experience managing trademark portfolios and offering strategic legal advice.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
- On-site position (not remote)
