Tax Accountant Key Responsibilities:
• Support quarterly and annual domestic tax provision and assist with income tax footnote disclosures under US GAAP
• Prepare and review consolidated federal, state, and local tax returns
• Manage sales and use tax compliance and assist with related audits
• Participate in federal and state income tax audits and support audit defense
• Assist with partnership tax returns and related workpapers
• Contribute to tax planning initiatives, acquisitions, and integration activities
• Support SOX compliance and other ad hoc tax projects
Tax Accountant Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in a multinational public company or public accounting environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP tax accounting, including ASC 740
• Experience with SOX 404 compliance
• Background in federal, state, and local tax compliance within a global structure
• Exposure to sales and use tax (indirect tax) preferred
