Job Description
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations, resolving concerns, and ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-up
- Partner with HR leadership to promote a positive and compliant work environment across corporate teams
- Maintain and manage employee records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Provide guidance to managers on performance management, corrective actions, attendance, and policy interpretation
- Support corporate team members in goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning
- Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies, programs, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (including ADA, EEOC, FMLA, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on HR systems, reporting, and benefits-related matters
- Serve as a resource to employees regarding benefits, HR systems, and employee self-service tools
- Process employment verifications and respond to internal and external requests for information
- Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports for corporate leadership to support decision-making
- Support organizational development initiatives, including training programs and employee engagement efforts
- Participate in special projects and corporate HR initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-site environment
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience supporting performance management processes and coaching leaders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in policy development and implementation preferred
Education
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
