Corporate Controller
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a stable, privately held organization to identify a Corporate Controller to step into a highly visible, hands-on leadership role. This Corporate Controller position is a planned succession hire with meaningful overlap and training, offering a rare opportunity to step into a trusted role with strong executive exposure. The Corporate Controller will play a critical role in financial oversight, reporting, and partnership with ownership while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting as Corporate Controller
Lead financial reviews, accrual vs. cash accounting, and GAAP-based reporting
Oversee and manage 401(k) administration, audits, and census preparation
Partner with external CPA firm on audits, tax filings, and compliance
Support quarterly tax deposits and annual reporting requirements
Communicate financial insights clearly to ownership and operations
Lead and mentor accounting leadership and staff as Corporate Controller
Compensation
Base Salary: $180,000–$220,000
Bonus: Discretionary

Ideal Background
CPA required
Public and private accounting experience strongly preferred
