A bit about us:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of legal matters that pertain to our company's operations. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring compliance with corporate laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and providing legal advice to our management team. This is a permanent position that requires a strong understanding of due diligence, venture capital financing, and private equity.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal support and advice to our management team on a wide range of corporate legal issues.
2. Conduct thorough due diligence to identify potential legal risks and devise risk mitigation strategies.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and other legal documents.
4. Advise on venture capital financing, private equity, and other forms of corporate financing.
5. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.
7. Develop and implement corporate legal policies and procedures.
8. Work closely with external legal counsel and manage the relationship to ensure high quality and cost-effective legal services.
9. Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that might affect the company and provide updates to the management team.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate attorney with a law firm.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in due diligence, venture capital financing, and private equity.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
10. Licensed to practice law in the state.
