Job Details
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in corporate and business law, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, governance matters, contract drafting, and general business counseling.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage transactional matters and client relationships.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear, business‑friendly manner.
- Organized, responsive, and capable of managing multiple matters simultaneously.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in building and maintaining a client portfolio.
Licensing:
Must be admitted to the NY Bar
Preferred Experience:
Exposure to financing transactions, commercial agreements, or private equity matters.
Experience representing closely‑held businesses, founders, or family‑owned companies.
Interest or experience in business development activities.
