Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Accountant

• Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Maintain and analyze general ledger activity in compliance with government regulations

• Assist with cost accounting, indirect rates, and contract-related reporting

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses

• Partner with finance and operations to ensure accurate project and cost tracking

Qualifications for the Corporate Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Experience working with Deltek Costpoint in a government or contract-based environment

• Strong understanding of GAAP and government accounting principles
