As a Project Coordinator, Specialized Workforce Assistance Team (SWAT) supports warehouse recovery efforts, special projects, and rapid‑response deployments across U.S. locations. This role is filled by high‑performing, cross‑trained warehouse associates who can travel on short notice, work extended hours, and provide hands‑on operational, training, and process support. SWAT members must be forklift certified, skilled in multiple warehouse functions, and consistently meet productivity, quality, and safety standards. They represent the COE during deployments and assist locations without creating operational strain at their home site.


Responsibilities:


+ Supports Center of Excellence (COE) recovery deployments and special warehouse projects.

+ Performs hands-on warehouse work across multiple functions (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, putaway, ICQC).

+ Conducts block audits, accuracy checks, and inventory validation.

+ Provides on-site administrative and logistical support during deployments (documentation, tracking, reporting).

+ Works extended hours and varied shifts during deployments.

+ Travels on short notice, often up to two weeks at a time.

+ Represents the COE professionally and maintains strong relationships with site teams.

+ Assists with training, coaching, and mentoring site associates on SOPs and standard work practices.

+ Helps reinforce warehouse processes and quality standards during deployments.

+ Identifies operational issues, bottlenecks, and accuracy gaps and escalates to COE leadership as needed.

+ Works independently with high attention to detail within COE warehouse procedures.

+ Support projects team by coordinating, participating, and managing project management documentation.

+ Maintain action item tracking to ensure reply and action.

+ Assist with development, planning, and execution of meeting agendas and distributes materials.

+ Monitor project execution aspects to ensure timely contribution by team members.

+ Assist with identifying potential bottlenecks in processes and works with management team members to resolve issues.

+ Prepares progress reports.

+ Liaises with personnel and managers when performing project activities.

+ Performs incidental project management including planning, research, analysis and implementation of deliverables and action items.

+ Acts as a team lead on small projects.


Qualifications:


+ Must be forklift (PIT) certified.

+ Must be certified in at least three warehouse functional areas (pick, pack, ship, receive, ICQC, etc.).

+ Must be WMS‑agnostic (can operate WMX, legacy WMS, or other platforms).

+ Must have no safety incidents in the last 6 months.

+ Must consistently meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.

+ Must come from a location where a two‑week absence does not impact operations.

+ Strong ability to motivate, coach, and support warehouse associates.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and professional behavior required.

+ Basic conflict-handling skills to resolve small issues calmly.

+ Ability to travel 50–75%, often with minimal notice.

+ Willingness to work longer-than-normal hours during deployments.

+ Associates’ Degree required; Bachelors’ Degree preferred

+ 1 year required, 2 years preferred of direct work in project management capacity

+ Interpersonal, conflict management, and negotiation skills

+ Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze workflow/processes

+ Adept at conducting research into project-related issues

+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Strong computer skills
