Job Title: Coordinator, Grants & Sponsorship Operations
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ
Type: Contract
Compensation: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid
Hours: 40.0 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Support the operational triage and review of educational grants and sponsorships, including assessing proposals for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor and manage applicant emails, follow up with internal and external stakeholders to support overall grants and sponsorship operations.
  • Assist with tracking and/or execution of Letters of Agreements (LOAs) and payments for grants and sponsorships, establishing positive relationships with applicants throughout submission, implementation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate with the operations and independent medical education leads to create reports and analyses of DSI-supported programs, supporting training and awareness of MPAC procedures and funded programs.
  • Utilize reports to evaluate trends, suggest operational efficiencies, and identify strengths or anomalies.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, results-driven approach, and proficiency in recognizing needs, prioritizing work, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and laws, including OIG, PhRMA Code, FDA/OPDP, with ongoing training.
  • Build and create practicality from innovation, manage relationships, negotiate, and influence without authority.
  • Collaborate effectively with leaders across functions to bring tasks and projects to completion.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience required.
  • Experience in corporate giving or educational grants is preferred but not required.
  • Proven success working with cross-functional teams and influencing leadership.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
  • Highly proficient in recognizing needs, prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of applicable regulations and laws, including OIG, PhRMA Code, FDA/OPDP (training provided).
  • Adept at relationship management, negotiating, and influencing without authority.
  • Bachelor's degree in science, management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
