Barton House Memory Care is seeking a dependable Cook who is passionate about creating meals that feel familiar, comforting, and tailored to each resident. In this role, food is more than nutrition—it’s part of the daily experience that supports memory and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily meals and snacks designed for seniors with varying dietary needs
  • Modify textures and ingredients to support safe dining and memory care best practices
  • Keep kitchen and food prep areas clean, organized, and compliant with regulations
  • Monitor food quality, temperature, and proper storage procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth meal service

Qualifications

  • Must have one year of related experience
  • High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics preferred
  • Must have current Food Handler certificate, CPR and First Aide certificate, AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 15 pounds at a time
  • Must speak fluent English
