Quantum Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Part-time Cook to join their team!

The cook is responsible for prepping and preparing food for residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Handles and prepares food in accordance with federal, state and local sanitary regulations.
• Prepares nutritionally appropriate and appetizing meals, including modified consistency and therapeutic diets, as directed by Food Service Director and/or Supervisor.
• Properly cares for dietary equipment.
• Follows menus and special diet instructions.
• Takes food temperatures per policy and ensures food items are prepared, cooled and stored in adherence to corporate, local, state and federal guidelines.
• Other Duties as assigned by the Director or Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have general cooking knowledge
• 2 years of cooking experience
• Experience in a healthcare setting helpful
• Must be able to follow production sheets and standardized recipes

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $25.00 -$26.00 per hour
