Job Title: PM Cook
Hours Worked: 40 Hours Per Week; 11:00 am – 7:30 pm
Qualifications: 1. Must be at least 18 years of age
2. Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
3. Must have the ability to follow directions
4. Shall have criminal record clearance prior to presence in facility
5. Shall have a health screening and TB test performed by physician
not more than six (6) months prior to employment. The TB test results
will be received within seven (7) days of employment; health screen
report will be received within thirty (30) days of employment.
6. Shall have appropriate training in first aid from persons qualified
by such agencies as the American Red Cross.
Duties:
- Check menu, assist where needed from AM shift.
- Ensure that 3 day pull of meat is in the fridge.
- Prepare and serve dinner.
- Wash all dishes, set up prep for resetting dining tables after all tables are clean.
- Check to ensure that all menu supplies are available. Let the Dietary Supervisor know if additional supplies are needed.
- Check to ensure supplies for the following day are available and communicate any concerns with Dietary Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work area at all times. Clean all work surfaces.
- Do weekly thorough cleanings. Maintain standard of sanitation, proper handwashing, etc.
- Sweep and mop dining room, butler’s pantry and kitchen at end of shift.
- Make sure all tables are set for the morning.
- Perform other assigned and scheduled tasks as needed by the department.
- Complete daily check off list.
