The Timbers Assisted Living Facility is seeking a compassionate and dependable Cook to join our dining services team. The ideal candidate will enjoy preparing nutritious, home-style meals and take pride in serving seniors in a warm, respectful environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook daily meals according to menus and dietary requirements

• Ensure meals meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences

• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workstations

• Assist with menu planning and food inventory as needed

• Work collaboratively with dietary and care staff to support resident needs

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience preferred (healthcare or senior living a plus)

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

• Ability to follow recipes and accommodate special diets

• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented

• Must be able to pass required background checks
