Job Duties & Responsibilities:

In this role, you will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals, ensuring they align with planned menus and established portion control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and recipes.

• Coordinate food production to meet scheduled meal service times.

• Ensure menu items, portion sizes, and plate presentations meet facility standards.

• Adhere to special diet orders and follow standard recipes.

• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to sanitation regulations.

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in dining services, preferably in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar setting.

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
