Chubby’s Restaurant is looking for a friendly, dependable Cook/Cashier to join our team. This role combines food preparation and customer service, helping ensure our guests receive great food and a great experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Chubby’s standards
- Take customer orders accurately (in person and/or by phone)
- Operate the cash register and handle payments
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and front counter area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Restock supplies and assist with basic prep work
- Work as a team to keep service running smoothly during busy times
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, cooking, or cashier experience is a plus (but not required)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate items
- Willingness to learn and follow company procedures
