Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or technical degree plus 3+ years of related experience; design and implement PLC control and protection systems
- Experience with PLC programming; program and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems
- Experience with HMI programming; program and troubleshoot HMI and operator interface systems
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings; design electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Perform electrical calculations and support system sizing and component selection
- Travel 20–30% domestically and to Canada; perform onsite inspections, commissioning, FAT, SAT, and customer training
- Experience with AutoCAD or EPlan preferred; develop drawings and documentation including O&M manuals
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
