Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer with a strong background in Mitsubishi PLC programming to support automation projects in the automotive manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system implementation. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and represent the company at client sites both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:

- Program, test, and troubleshoot Mitsubishi PLC systems for production and process automation.

- Modify and maintain communication networks, including DeviceNet, CC-Link, and Ethernet.

- Collaborate with engineers and clients to gather specifications, resolve technical issues, and ensure project requirements are met.

- Develop, install, and commission control system programs onsite.

- Provide support to software developers during testing and implementation.

- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and maintenance of factory automation systems.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NEC, UL) and contribute to Industry 4.0/IoT integration initiatives.



Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in PLC programming (Mitsubishi required; Allen-Bradley, Omron, and RSLogix 5000 a plus).

- Strong Mitsubishi PLC experience within automotive manufacturing (production control systems, machining processes, parts washing/marking, monitoring, and traceability systems).

- High-level knowledge of wiring, sensors, schematics, and diagrams.

- Familiarity with communication protocols (DeviceNet, CC-Link, Ethernet).

- Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, and automated build processes.

- Knowledge of Factory Automation and Industry 4.0/IoT concepts preferred.

- Ability to work independently in client-facing environments.

- Willingness to travel internationally and meet security clearance requirements.
