Controls Engineer

We are on the lookout for an experienced Applications Specialist skilled in deploying advanced automation solutions using ICONICS GENESIS and the wider ICONICS suite. This pivotal role involves designing, executing, and implementing complex automation systems across diverse environments, including commercial infrastructures and industrial sites. The right candidate will bring proven experience in real-world scenarios and offer expert insights to drive customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will encompass configuring and implementing state-of-the-art automation systems, leading sizable projects, and providing invaluable technical guidance. You'll be integrating cutting-edge technologies with commercial hardware, crafting dynamic dashboards, and utilizing data analytics to enhance system performance and visibility. As a critical member of our project team, you'll ensure seamless project delivery while maintaining exemplary professionalism.

**Educational Background**

A degree in Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's) is required.

**Location and Travel**

Based primarily in Washington, DC, initial training will occur in Foxboro, MA. Following this, the role requires onsite presence. Post-training, anticipate moderate travel (5-15%), potentially inclusive of international engagements.

**Essential Skills**

- 5+ years deploying ICONICS GENESIS automation solutions
- Extensive knowledge of industrial and IT networking
- Familiarity with communication protocols (OPC, BACnet, Modbus, SNMP)
- Proficiency in SQL Server and Microsoft platforms
- Ability to secure Federal Security Credentials/CAC clearance

**Desirable Skills**

- Familiarity with additional HMI/SCADA platforms
- Experience with IoT, UX design, and data integration
