Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven professional to take on a key leadership role within their organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this individual will be a pivotal member of the management team. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities and excel in communication. A high level of expertise in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is essential.

This position is fully office-based in the Tempe/Chandler area, offering a strong compensation package inclusive of a competitive base salary and performance-based bonuses.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead financial reporting and manage the general ledger and accounts payable processes for a diverse business portfolio.
- Oversee monthly and annual financial closing cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Compile consolidated financial reports and monitor performance indicators.
- Conduct weekly and monthly cash flow analysis.
- Provide insightful cost analysis and generate detailed reports to support teams internally and externally.
- Develop and refine accounting policies to enhance organizational performance.
- Engage in major projects, streamlining operations such as inventory and expense management.
- Drive the annual budgeting process through cross-department collaboration.
- Facilitate the company's annual external audit.
- Mentor and guide the accounting team to fulfill the company's financial objectives.
- Offer strategic financial counsel to support sound decision-making processes.
- Contribute to capital planning and assess financial returns on investment for new ventures.
- Implement robust financial control measures to ensure data integrity and safeguard company assets.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is essential, CPA accreditation is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience in a dynamic, fast-paced industry, ideally in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in managing general ledger and reporting functions, including month-end closures.
- Experience with multi-site financial consolidations is a must.
- Strong familiarity with ERP systems, with preference for experience in ERP system implementation.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced skills in Power BI.
- A minimum of 3 years' leadership experience managing and developing small teams.
