We’re Hiring: Controller

We’re looking for a Controller to lead core accounting operations while owning and optimizing our financial systems in a construction environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands‑on accounting with system ownership, process improvement, and better financial visibility across projects.

You’ll serve as the link between accounting, finance, and operations—ensuring accurate job costing, strong reporting, and scalable systems that support project performance.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee core accounting functions including GL, reconciliations, reporting, and close
• Own and optimize our financial systems, with primary responsibility for Foundation Software
• Support AP, AR, job costing, project reporting, and WIP schedules
• Improve reporting, automation, and system utilization across projects
• Partner closely with accounting, project managers, and operations leadership
• Support system upgrades, integrations, documentation, and user training
• Maintain internal controls and support audit and compliance needs

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience (construction industry strongly preferred)
• Experience with construction accounting systems (Foundation or similar ERP)
• Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
